During the summer of 2015, at SMASH UCLA , I took an engineering course in which I worked on 123D Design. Here are a few projects I did. Enjoy!
The Cup Project
The first project we were assigned when we started the course was to create a cup using the program. Since it was my first time using this program I had a few difficulties creating it.
Taper Holder
For our second project we had to choice and item from a box to recreate on the computer program. My partner and I decided to choose a tape holder. Through out the process I learned how to merge items and shape a figure to look like a taper holder. It was definitly a challenege but I think my partner and I did a pretty good job.
Mars Tool
After gaining experience and working with program, we were given a Mars theme. Our first Mars challenge was to create a tool that would be essential on a trip to Mars. My partner and I created a glove that had necessary things like a flashlight, a laser, and an item identifier.
Mars Home
Our last project was to create a Mars home. I was in charge of creating a model home while my partner was in charge of creating a Mars atmoshpere with a different pnline program. At this point I was more skilled in the program and found it easier to create it.
